On July 15, 2019 more than 108 Ward 5 residents attended the Howard University East Campus planning meeting at the Michigan Park Christian Church. The second in a series of community meetings, this event generated a great deal of interest, a lively dialogue and active public engagement. Residents worked with Howard University’s master planning team of FLGA/ZOM, Design Collective and Robinson Associates to actively conceptualize ideas for the 23-acre site.
