One of the largest privately held undeveloped land masses in the District of Columbia, Howard University’s East Campus presents an opportunity to deliver a world class development that adds financial value and enhanced academic experiences for Howard University while delivering capacity building opportunities as well as critical diverse housing stock to the Ward 5 community. To capitalize on this, Howard has engaged a development team of FLGA LLC Real Estate Group and ZOM Living to begin due diligence and master planning activities for the redevelopment of its East Campus, located at 1400 Shepherd Street, NE. The development team will work with multiple University internal and external stakeholders to reimagine uses, designs and possibilities for Howard University’s East Campus (HUEC) site.
